Acclaimed cellist Jonathan Swensen returns to Newport after a memorable festival debut, bringing his signature intensity and imagination to the stage. A recipient of the Avery Fisher Career Grant and a joint First Prize winner at the Naumburg International Cello Competition, Swensen has earned international praise for performances filled with charisma and expressive depth.
